About Asterwatch Fire
A fire safety company built around one idea: if it is not recorded, it did not happen.
Fire safety in the UK has changed. After Grenfell, the Fire Safety Act 2021, the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 and the Building Safety Act 2022 moved the burden from good intentions to good evidence. Building owners, landlords and managing agents now need to show, at any time, that their fire safety systems work and that the risks in their buildings are understood.
Asterwatch Fire brings the services that produce that evidence together under one roof: fire alarm design, installation, testing and servicing; emergency lighting; fire doors; smoke ventilation; electrical testing; fire risk assessments; external wall reviews; compartmentation; and support with the building safety case.
How we work
- Fixed prices. You see the price before we start, and we do not carry out chargeable work without your approval.
- Plain English. Reports say what we found, what it means and what to do next, in words a director or resident can follow.
- Records by building. Every certificate, photograph and report is filed against the building it belongs to, ready for your golden thread.
- The right law for the right nation. England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland each have their own rules. We apply the ones that fit your building.
Who we are
Asterwatch Fire is a trading name of VawltAI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17201161). VawltAI Ltd also builds property management software, which is why we care so much about structured, searchable building records.
Accreditations
We work with engineers and assessors who hold the qualifications and third-party certifications appropriate to each service. Ask us for the certification details for the engineers on your job.
